Specifically our displays offer insight into the lives, businesses and way of life of the pioneers that settled the Millston, Knapp, Shamrock and Manchester areas. The Museum houses several family albums, photos and family histories of the area as well as a resource library for the outlying areas and their cemeteries. All artifacts on display in the museum are specific to the area and have been collected and donated by local families over the last 30 years. We have tax and assessment records and school district records for Millston and Knapp Townships that start when the Townships were created.

Please join us for our 1st Annual Cemetery Walk on June 6, 2026 from 1-3pm at Brookside Cemetery in Millston, WI as we talk about the lives of four area historical figures, Emma Bunde, Archie Ketchum, Lois Wuaghtal Straight and Andrew Koebler. We will also demonstrate proper headstone cleaning. Rain or shine! Bring an umbrella and chair and enjoy a bit of area history. Join us after the completion of the presentation for a tour of the museum and light refreshments.

- We have on loan from the Lee and Judy Arity family of Tomah a miniature replica of the McKenna and Goodyear Logging Camp carefully crafted by Preston Arity. Each building can be opened and viewed and no details were spared. It is a great learning tool for those interested in the lumber camps.
